Salemi

The annual trade fair BIT-Borsa Internazionale del Tursimo : “International Tourism Exchange” takes place in Milan from 18-21 February 2010. For the first time Salemi will have a stand at the trade fair.

On Saturday 20^th February at 15:30 Vittorio Sgarbi, the mayor of Salemi, will hold a press conference at BIT launching future cultural initiatives of Salemi including:

• The Salemi 1 euro property regeneration programme.
• The 150 years celebrations of the unification of Italy by Garibaldi in Salemi
• The Salemi Mafia Museum

Local Salemi produce will be available for tasting at the stand.
