Salemi council shows signs of committing to the development and investment of the town. Recent Salemi council investments into the infrastructure of Salemi are a promising step that the council is getting close to finally launching the 1 euro house project. Many of you have visited Salemi and before committing to investing wanted to see a commitment from the council. We are happy to demonstrate the first signs of investment. Now is the time to start really thinking about committing to an investment in Salemi.
There are 2 key areas where the council is investing. 1: Salemi town car park. The car park on the south west side of the town is the main car park for visitors and residents accessing Salemi historic town centre. The council has now built an outdoor escalator-lift to help visitors with the climb from the car park up to the town centre. Here you can view a video of this strategic investment. 2: Salemi 1 euro house project road access : One of the key issues in the development of the 1 euro house project in Salemi has been the road access. Salemi has many small old roads. Now the council has invested in the south area of the town, widening the roads for future access to the 1 euro house zone. This is a fundamental step forward in that this will not only permit public access but more importantly building material delivery access.
