A not for profit association has recently been created as
the driving force and catalyst for the Salemi International Jazz Festival.
(SIJF).
Jazz has strong roots in Sicily and it is for this reason
that international sponsors are already in negotiations with the SIJF
association to create a Jazz school in Salemi, which will be an all year round base
for international students, teachers and artists to live Jazz. Follow this link to read the latest news about the Salemi International Jazz Academy.
SIJF will see live street performances from students and
highlight performances from world famous artists.
