La Giummara Restaurtant Pizzeria Definately the best place in Salemi for good quality cheap food. Nino the owner will host you and really does make sure you enjoy your meal. Open both at lunch time 12-4 and evening from 7 - late here you can enjoy pizza, pasta, meat, fish and some excellent desserts all accompanied by good wine or beer. Kids you can get here the 80's style litre glass bottle of coca cola. Tell Nino you read about La Giumarra here and he'll offer you a digestive after your meal. 5 minutes from the historic town centre of Salemi. Head out of town following directions to the motorway, turn right at the bottom of the hill and you'll find La Giummara on your right 1km heading out of town. Well worth the car journey. Ample parking outside.
