Saturday 14th March "Salemi e Pepemi" The Salemi brand with its traditional and authentic products will be promoted at the Florence restaurant Villa Bardini.
An idea developed by Oliviero Toscani, the councillor for creativity at Salemi. Vittorio Sgarbi, Toscani and Graziano Cecchini will all be present to support the event. Sgarbi will attend a press conference at 11am to launch the event. Promoting the authenticate recepies from Sicily and Salemi original sicilan salemi food with be availabe for tasting in the Villa BArdini from 15:30 - 19:30pm. At 8pm the official dinner based on Sicilian products will take place. The most important Salemi product is the handmade artigian bread, celebrated in Salemi with the Saint Giusppe bread festival (le cene di San Giuseppe).
